A national football tournament saw eight Internationella Engelska Skolan schools put forward 16 teams to compete. The seven-aside contest saw children in years four and five from Internationella Engelska Skolan’s schools throughout Sweden compete to win the Turf Moor Cup for Boys and the Turf Moor Cup for Girls. Skolinspektionen har i dagarna kommit med resultatet från sin tillsyn av en skola på Kungsholmen som kallar sig ”Stockholms Engelska Skola”. Slutsatserna är mycket negativa, bland annat när det gäller den påstådda undervisningen på engelska. Skolan saknar också, enligt Skolinspektionen, ekonomiskt underlag för en uthållig verksamhet. Welcome to the Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede
Next week sees the Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede play host to important visitors from the UK.
On Tuesday 14th November we will be welcoming our UK Development Manager Ms. King and our new UK School Principal from Brandon in England, Ms. Zand. Our guests will be with us throughout the morning, visiting classrooms and discussing how the Swedish educational system is implemented within our organization.

IES Enskede Wins Best School Award
Congratulations to everyone for helping create this amazing result.
IES Enskede received a visit from Mrs. Barbara Bergström, our owner and Founder last week, together with the IES Managing Director Mr. Peter John Fyles. The purpose of this visit was to recognize our school for its academic excellence.
IES Enskede students achieved the highest national test results in our organization for both Science and English, and were 2nd in Swedish. Read more Seasons Greetings

Welcome To Our School A Seasons Greetings to One and All At all schools the weeks running up to the Christmas break are very busy, and ours is of course no exception. There is a huge variety of activities taking place this week and next, from Lucia and putting up decorations, to grades and assessments, to talent shows to award ceremonies and so on.
