A Seasons Greetings to One and All

At all schools the weeks running up to the Christmas break are very busy, and ours is of course no exception. There is a huge variety of activities taking place this week and next, from Lucia and putting up decorations, to grades and assessments, to talent shows to award ceremonies and so on. Before we know it the term will be over and students will be able to enjoy a well earned rest.

Our award focus at this year`s end of term ceremonies will be Approaches to Learning and Good Citizenship. There will be Certificates, Cinema tickets and Sony Digital Cameras to be won by those students deemed to have best supported our school ethos by deed. These are awards that all students are capable of winning as they are based on recognized random acts of kindness around the school and positive methodologies for success within the classroom.

It is important for all to remember that students with these characteristics who do not win an award this time will always win in the long run, as persistence in these areas is no friend of failure.
